The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed in regards to the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach sassa status check Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The provider position designed for intervention encounters a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
